    (SECU) 4-H HISTORY & LEARNING CENTER

 Houses the “4-H Hall of Leadership” that features the history of 4-H in North Carolina through interpretative wall display panels and a timeline of events.  Many 4-H artifacts are on display.

4-H Peanuts Built

THE HOUSE THAT 4-H PEANUTS BUILT (4-H MUSEUM) 

Childhood home of the Rudolph Carl Ellis Family on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville, NC.  House was built with money generated by Rudolph’s 4-H Peanut Project. The house was loving donated in 2003 by Rudolph’s daughter, Sharon, and moved to Millstone.  The home was built in 1939, the same year Millstone opened.

The “Museum”, maintaining the home’s original floor-plan, houses many displays and artifacts that depict the history of 4-H in North Carolina through the decades.

The Museum also features a display furnished by the NC Peanut Growers Association.
